2009 Kenya Missionary Journey

 The 2009 Kenya Mission Team will depart the United States on June 7th and will leave with a heavy schedule of work to be done for the Lord and his people who live in Kenya. With Sam's Place construction well underway near Rongo, much of the team's efforts will be concentrated on that site where the dormitory construction is currently in progress. The team will contribute to the construction, but much more will be done during this important time in Kenya. Planning and organizing the operational side of Sam's Place begins in June with a series of meetings and training for our Kenyan leadership team. The first Children's Camps will provide new and exciting opportunities for children who live in Siriat (site of the KDPL--the National Deaf Worshop) and those who live in the neighborhoods surrounding Sam's Place. Along the way our team will visit and survey a series of deaf orphanages and schools where we will engage in benovolence work for needy children.
